Version: 0.2.2 Compatibility: 1.6.x Files: 3 Database changes: 1 new table, 1 new column to 1 default table. Information: This plugin will allow you to give permissions to specific users. You can set custom general board permissions, and also set permissions for specific forums as well as globally, which will override any other forum permissions. To Install: Upload ./inc/plugins/customuserperms.php to ./inc/plugins/ Upload ./admin/modules/user/customuserperms.php to ./admin/modules/user/ Upload ./inc/languages/english/admin/user_customuserperms.lang.php to ./inc/languages/english/admin/ Go to ACP > Plugins > Install and Activate Go to ACP > Users & Groups > Custom User Permissions. Change Log: 17/11/10 - v0.1 -> Initial beta release. 03/12/10 - v0.1 -> v0.2 -> Added the ability to set global forum permissions, instead of just permissions for specific forums. To upgrade, reupload ./inc/plugins/customuserperms.php, ./admin/modules/user/customuserperms.php, ./inc/languages/english/admin/user_customuserperms.lang.php 07/02/11 - v0.2 -> v0.2.1 -> Fixed a bug where the count of general permissions would be incorrect. If a user has custom user permissions which are deactivated, the permissions won't be queried for. Added in a setting for the 'Can only view own threads?' permission. What a powerfull tool! I immediately loved it - and removed 4 other plugins which together could do only a fraction of this one. miketiger - 1st August 2011 Totally agree, this is a powerful tool and should be an integral part of the MyBB Admin panel, hopefully it will in a future release. |
