MyBB

In November 2007 I started using MyBB 1.2 for a forum I had an idea for, and although it was a failure beyond all comprehension, it did get me using MyBB. In April 2008 I joined the MyBB Community Forums, posted on and off for a bit, and then in around August/September time, shortly after the release of MyBB 1.4.0, I started trying to help people in the Support Forums, despite not knowing much to begin with, but got to know MyBB more and more. Then, some 3/4 months later, in December 2008, I joined the MyBB Support Team. I was really happy about this, not only because I was on the Team of such an amazingly good forum software group, but also because I’d learnt so much more that I ever imagined I would, which has inspired me to learn PHP and MySQL to further my understanding even more.

    Matt:
    where are your forums hosted?

  4. The host Learn MyBB is on went out of business a while back when one of the servers crashed and there was mass data loss… I’m one of the very few people still being hosted on one of the other plans, for free. If I was working more on the forum I’d probably move it to a different host.

Great site but Im still confused about hosting so much to choose from the problem is finding a good reliable host.

  6. What sort of size are you looking for?? Free or paid?? How big is your forum, if you currently have one??
